Sharing Their Secret
“So, Bailey is a woman now, huh?” Bailey's old friends sat around a table as they waited for her. Ever since she changed near the end of the school year, they hadn’t seen her, or each other very much, for that matter. She hid away and that was it, until Alex arranged this get-together to catch up, of course.
“Mhm, something like that. Second puberty, or some weird medicine, or something like that. I don't quite remember what it was. He, uh, she became obsessed with the whole gender swap idea around that time.” The life Bailey had carved out for herself definitely took priority over them when it happened. None of them really knew what she looked like, or what her life had become, making that mystery the main topic on the three guy's minds. As if on queue, once the three of them had gathered that they didn't really know anything about her, someone who looked like Bailey began walking toward them. Although… it wasn't a woman. It was a man who looked a lot like Bailey, despite some minor differences. As well as a cute blonde girl who had to have been roughly their age wrapped around his arm.
“Hey…” Alex pointed back and forth between the two of them, confused as to who's who. Eventually, he settled on pointing at the guy. “Bailey…?”
“Oh, no. I'm Bailey's…” He looked down at the girl next to him, a questioning look between them resulting in him finishing his sentence. “Brother.” That made sense, he would look like Bailey if he was her brother, so that must mean… “And this girl here is Bailey, my sister.” A couple of the guys couldn't help but notice the… closeness between the two of them, mainly in Bailey's posture towards him. Bailey noticed that, and followed up.
“Aaaand I'm his girlfriend too!” Bailey leaned up and kissed him. Everyone sitting at the table did a collective spit take, while Bailey's brother (or boyfriend?) gently flicked her forehead.
“You can't just tell people that. It's one or the other!” Clearly embarrassed at what she said, her brother berated her. Apparently, it was supposed to be a secret.
“Aww, but I'm tired of hiding it! I love you sooo much, and I want everyone to know!” at that Bailey's brother couldn't really argue back, not when she looked up at him the way she was. “So yeah, I'm a girl now, what do you guys think?! It was rough at first but now I really love it. Dressing up all cute and spending all day with this big hunk, it's the best!”
“You look great! But he's really your brother…?” Of course, the guys were impressed with Bailey's changes, but it had suddenly become the least of their worries “So you two…” Bailey and her brother sat at the table.
“Yeah, he acts all shy now but you should see him in bed. Blows my fucking back out, he's a beast! But yeah, we're definitely a thing.” Excited about what she was saying, Bailey then picked up on the mood and pulled it back a little. “I trust you all can keep this under wraps for a bit, yeah? I just want someone to share this secret with… I hate having to hide it, and we're all friends yeah?”
“What? Yeah, of course. It's just a touch odd.” Surprisingly, Bailey's friends didn't outright reject her. Sure, her relationship was… not something they would envy, but she was still their friend, and clearly them knowing her secret meant a lot to her. “Yeah, we were going to find out one way or another eventually right?”
“Thanks!” Bailey settled herself comfortably up against her boyfriend's shoulder, happy to be free to be herself. “Anyways, I love him. I wouldn't have things any other way. So what have you all been up to?”
