Last Wishes - TG Caption

This was a commission from the lovely JocelynsTGEmporium, and I think it came out quite nice! The picture she chose out for it is incredible too, just what I like, so I hope this caption does it justice!

Last Wishes

"My daughter should have a daughter of her own... to take care of me like she did..." Those were Logan's grandmother's final words. Strange, to say the least, but understandable. His mom had taken care of her for a long time now, so she had it in her head that only a woman was capable of that type of care or understanding. Everyone knew that wasn't possible, Logan was an only child, and would definitely stay that way. But someone's final wish can be really powerful...
Logan got ready for bed just like any other night, but he was in a somewhat somber mood. Even though it was a week ago, his grandmother passed away so of course he would still be a little shaken. He noticed that he was skinnier than he remembered and had longer hair than he thought before he went to bed, was he taking worse care of himself than he thought? No, he still looked fine... it should be nothing, so he went to sleep.
In the morning Logan noticed something odd. What used to be a blurry view of his room every morning was now a face full of beautiful orange and red hair. What was this? Logan got up hurriedly and headed for his bathroom, where he would see... he was a beautiful redhead! What caused this? The first thing he did was rush down to tell his mom, but the thing she was the most worried about was why he hadn't gotten ready for the day.
"Mom, I turned into a woman!" Logan held out his long red hair and gestured towards his beautiful body.
"Yes, yes, and a beautiful one at that. Can you go at least get presentable honey?" His mom hardly batted an eye at him as she went back to what she had been doing. Did some random girl in her house not alarm her?
"What? Do you remember what grandma said about you having a daughter?" It had just dawned on him, had that caused it? Did Grandma really make him into the granddaughter she always wanted? One that was borderline perfect, from the looks of it...
"Yeah, it was strange because I have you!" She smiled, happy to have her daughter in her life. It seemed like his theory was correct, a woman through magic, and a world that didn't know her as anything but what she was now? The feeling in Logan's chest was one of fear, confusion, and curiosity. What would it be like... to be this way? No, he had to fight it, just in case... because it was right...
"No, I'm your son!" Logan let out one last denial, but deep down, he knew it was true. He was no longer a "he" but instead a "she."
"Uh-huh. And I'm your dad. Enough with that honey, go back to your room and get ready, and let's make the most of the day, alright?" At that Logan went back up to "her" room. It had completely changed. Clean, cute, aromatic. With some searching he found he was "Jocelyn" a girl who led a life much like his own, but on the other side. His closet was full of elegant and stylish clothing, and his drawers were filled with makeup and accessories. Pictures of her with some boy, her with a group of girls, her and her mother... It was like a whole new world, both literally and figuratively. She seemed really happy... and pretty. It wasn't all bad. It was a good thing mom wasn't getting old any time soon... because Jocelyn was going to have to get used to life as a woman.
